Fire Extinguisher Sales & Service on Long Island and in NYC

Our friendly staff reflect years of experience in sales, product installation, maintenance and attention to customer needs in our every interaction every day. A portable fire extinguisher is your first line of defense against a fire – and perhaps the most important part of your fire safety program. However, it is not enough to have a fire extinguisher. Besides its physical location being known and easily accessible, it is required that your fire extinguisher is properly mounted and inspected annually by a certified company and undergo regular inspection and maintenance.

M&M Fire Extinguishers provides fire equipment to homes, offices, buildings and businesses throughout the NYC and Long Island area. Call M&M Fire Extinguishers today for more information!

Staying Compliant in Nassau, Suffolk and NYC

Portable fire extinguishers are maintained under NFPA 10: a monthly visual check by the building owner or staff, an annual inspection and service tag from a qualified technician, six-year internal maintenance on stored-pressure dry chemical units, and hydrostatic testing every 5 or 12 years depending on the extinguisher type. On Long Island, fire code enforcement comes from the county and local fire marshals; in New York City, it comes from the FDNY. We keep track of these schedules for you, tag every unit we service, and leave you with records ready for your next fire inspection or insurance audit.
